• Park Rapids Area Virtual Academy (PRAVA) is a Minnesota State-Approved Online Learning Provider offering comprehensive programming for students in Grades 6-12.

    In partnership with the Apex Learning curriculum, PRAVA provides:

    Flexible Scheduling

    Our online courses give your students the ability to control when, where, and how quickly they work.

    Student Support

    Your student works on their online courses independently, but they are not alone. Our Park Rapids Area certified teachers, special education staff, and school counselors are there to provide guidance and offer support.

    A High School Diploma Online

    If your student is looking for an alternative learning environment, they can enroll as a full-time student in our online middle or high school. We customize graduation and learning plans according to the needs and schedule of your student, and PRAVA students graduate along with those students in the Park Rapids Area Schools when they have met their graducation requirements.

    Extra Practice when Required

    If your student needs to gain confidence in a particular subject, we offer tutorials, adjusted curriculum, and supportive content providers. The supplemental Apex Tutorial online curriculum is topic based and provides focused practice when needed.
