     Century Middle School Bulletin

     

    Monday, May 23, 2022      Day 4

           Announcements

                This week:

    • There will be a football meeting for grades 8-11 tomorrow at 9 at the HS auditorium.
    • Tomorrow is the last day of school. School will dismiss at 3:05.
    • Girls summer basketball will be starting soon.  Stop in the office and pick up a registration form.  Please register early to get a t-shirt. Grades 2-5 starts on June 13 and grade 6 starts on June 6. 

    Ongoing:

    • Please check the lost and found for your items. Any items left after next Tuesday will be donated.
    • Any student who does not have their field trip permission form turned in will not be able to attend. Your homeroom teacher will let you know if you do not have one on file.
    • If you are not feeling well, ask your teacher for a pass to the nurse. She will make the decision to contact your parents if needed.
    • No hats, no cell phones, no backpacks…. put them in your locker.
    • Please pick up after yourself in our cafeteria space. Do not leave a mess for someone else to pick up after you.

           Announcements

                This week:

    • Dress up days are:

    Friday: Tropical/Beach Day

    • At 9:00 today, there will be a meeting for any girls who are currently in grades 6 and 7 who are interested in playing volleyball.

    • 8th graders: On Wednesday, you will be exchanging your Chromebook for a new one. Your current one MUST be working, sticker-free and clean. You will also need your cord.
    • The 5th grade will have their music concert at 2:15 today.
    • Wednesday, the 6th grade will be going to the Freshwater Festival.
    • Band students from 6th and 7th grade will be going to Itasca State Park on Thursday. Trip is cancelled.
    • 8th grade band students will be going to Duluth on Friday. Trip is cancelled.

    • The Speech team annual awards banquet will be held on Monday at 6 at Vallarta’s. All speech team members, coaches and volunteers are invited.

           Announcements

    • The last day to check out books from the library will be today. All books are due back by May 13th.
    • There will be a Football and Volleyball meeting at the High School this morning at 8:30am for all those in grade 8-11 planning on playing Football or Volleyball next year!

    Mr. Kovach will be walking the 8th Graders over from Century at 8:25am. Please bring a pen or pencil with you.
