    Notes and Such for April 16, 2021

    Students/Staff:

    1. Today’s Menu: Deli sandwich, carrots, pears and milk variety.
    2. The severe weather drill will be April 19 at 10:35.
    3. Administrative Professionals Day is April 21.
    4. Earth Day is April 22.
    5. The final day of targeted services is April 29.
    6. Youth Baseball registration is now open!  You can register online with Community Ed or pick up a form in the office.  All details are included on the form.

    Health Tip of the Week:  Snack well.  Prep your snacks for work during meal prepping on the weekends or the night before.  Pre-package your own almonds, fresh fruit or chopped veggies to have on hand for easy and healthy snacking while working.

    1. Today’s Menu: Pulled pork gravy, mashed potatoes, beans and milk variety.
    2. Tomorrow’s Menu: Deli sandwich, carrots, pears and milk variety.
    3. MCA testing for third and fourth grade reading will be April 15 & 16.
    4. Stop in the nurse’s office today if you would like to take a saliva test.

    Notes and Such for April 8, 2021

    Students/Staff:

    1. Today’s Menu: Italian pasta bake, broccoli, apples and milk variety.
    2. Tomorrow’s Menu: PB & J, celery, Mandarin oranges and milk variety.
    3. Kindergarten graduation pictures will be taken April 9 starting at 8:30. Also, students that missed pictures in the fall should get a picture taken Friday, as we will be doing composites in place of group pictures.  If they don’t have a picture in Synergy, they probably need to get a picture taken Friday to be included in the composite.  Look closely at your seating charts as some pictures may be from a previous year.  Pay special attention to your new students and students that returned from distance learning.  Let me know if you need a regular “picture envelope” for anyone I may have missed.

    Health Tip of the Week:  Take breaks.  We all need breaks from work.  Every 50 minutes or so, make a plan to step away from your workspace.  It will refresh your mind and get your circulation moving as you stand up and walk around your workplace.

    Laugh a Day!  Is it true that chafing is the biggest problem facing Eskimos who kiss by rubbing noses?  -  No, it’s snot.

    2. Tomorrow’s Menu: Italian pasta bake, broccoli, apples and milk variety.
    3. School News/Pictures? Contact Shannon at sgeisen@parkrapidsenterprise.com and Laurie at lconzemius@parkrapids.k12.mn.us

    2. There are no targeted services today.
    3. There is no school April 2 or 5. Happy Easter for April 4.
    4. Kindergarten graduation pictures will be taken April 9 starting at 8:30. Doing so with a neutral person like a therapist can help you approach problems with a new outlook.     10. WE WILL NOT HAVE CLASS GROUP PICTURES THIS YEAR. THE YEARBOOK WILL SUFFICE AND IS THE SAME COST OF LESS.  Caulfield has not decided if they will still do the kinder grad ones yet.
