Welcome!

  • Dear Century Elementary Families,

Welcome to another wonderful year of teaching and learning at Century Elementary! The partnership between home and school builds the strong foundation that our children need as they begin their educational journey. Together we will provide the solid framework to inspire, challenge, and empower each child to be the best he or she can be!

As we begin a new school year, let us reflect upon the mission of our district. The mission is to work together to prepare today's learners for tomorrow's challenges. Our staff is deeply committed to preparing each child as a 21st Century learner with a rigorous curriculum and differentiated instruction in a safe, caring learning environment. Our dedicated staff is committed to your child’s academic, personal, and social development.

At Century Elementary, parent involvement is deeply valued and encouraged. Ask questions, come to events and show your child that school and learning are the keys to success! You are kindly invited to visit our school at lunch time, volunteer in your child’s classroom and get involved with the PTA at Century School. I encourage you to join our school’s activities and participate in our school’s programs that establish strong foundations for our children.

Please do not hesitate to contact me at 237-6200 or email me at jdelahunt@parkrapids.k12.mn.us. I look forward to your communication. Century Elementary is educating tomorrow’s future… one child at a time. Come join us and see the future at a glance!

    Your partner in learning,

    Joleen De La Hunt
