Welcome to Century Middle School!
We are looking forward to another exciting year of learning and growing together. The middle school years are important stepping-stones on the path to high school success.
During middle school, students will be provided many opportunities to develop friendships, explore areas of interest and accomplish great things in both academics and activities.
At Century Middle School we offer a diverse, Minnesota Standards-driven challenging curriculum that takes into account the 21st century learner. As a staff, we strive to be responsive to our students and their needs. We collaborate with one another through teacher team time and professional learning communities as we work to be data driven and responsive to students’ social, emotional, and academic development.
We deeply value and encourage parents and the community as partners in the development and education of all our students. Thank you for partnering with us to maintain a positive and safe school where students can learn, grow and develop valuable life skills. I highly encourage you to talk with your middle schooler daily about their experiences at school; their friends, daily activities and learning.
Please feel free to contact me at 237-6300 or email@example.com, at any time to discuss your child’s education or to learn more about Century Middle School. Our website contains a lot of information about school procedures, including the student handbook, our programs and upcoming events.

The Middle School students (grades 5-8)and staff volunteered on May 11 to provide help with community and individual outdoor service projects. Here are a couple pictures from today...8th graders went to the DNR to pick up garbage and pull flags and bud caps. Others raked and helped in many ways. Way to go!!
These CMS students have achieved perfect Attendance from September- December. Perfect period attendance means that the student did not miss any class periods due to the following: Administrative removal, Court, Family, Funeral, Ill, ISS, Medical, Cut/Truant and/or Unexcused absences. These students received a “Speed Pass 2 Lunch” to get to the front of the lunch line the month of January.
