  • A Note from our Principal:

    Welcome to Century Middle School!

    We are looking forward to another exciting year of learning and growing together. The middle school years are important stepping-stones on the path to high school success.

    During middle school, students will be provided many opportunities to develop friendships, explore areas of interest and accomplish great things in both academics and activities.

    At Century Middle School we offer a diverse, Minnesota Standards-driven challenging curriculum that takes into account the 21st century learner. As a staff, we strive to be responsive to our students and their needs. We collaborate with one another through teacher team time and professional learning communities as we work to be data driven and responsive to students’ social, emotional, and academic development.

    We deeply value and encourage parents and the community as partners in the development and education of all our students. Thank you for partnering with us to maintain a positive and safe school where students can learn, grow and develop valuable life skills. I highly encourage you to talk with your middle schooler daily about their experiences at school; their friends, daily activities and learning.

    Monday, May 22, 2017                                             Day 1

    STUDENTS:

    • There will be a short football meeting on Wednesday, May 24 at 8:10 in Mr. Lembcke's room for all 8th graders interested in playing football next year. 
    • If you are planning to play 14U softball, please get signed up through Community Ed ASAP. We are planning to start practice the week of May 29th. 
    • Summer Ladies Panther Basketball classes for grades 4 – 11 are here. Flyers are in the office. Stop by gals to pick one up!
    • It's time to register for Summer Softball Leagues for June through July. Please register by May 24th if interested. Flyers are available in the office.  
    • 5th Grade Boys and Girls: flyers are being sent home with you for Summer Boys and Girls Basketball Camp, for one week in July.  Coach Brandt and his players will be working on the fundamentals of basketball with you.  The cost is $20.
    • This is it! Last chance to order a yearbook.  Don’t miss out on all the excitement the last day of school. A limited amount of books are available, so don’t wait until the last minute. When they are gone, they are gone. The cost is now $20.00. Bring Mrs. Schueller your money and get your name on the list today. 
    • We will be having our “End of the Year Celebration” on June 1st. Parents are invited to attend.

    • Library books and FINES are due Please turn in your books and pay your fines so you can participate in the end of the year activities.
