The Continuing Education Committee meets twice each school year.  Clock hours and semester credits must be turned in to the Committee before the fall or spring meeting for approval. Remember, it is your responsibility to be sure your license does not lapse and that your credentials are up to date. 125 hours are required for each 5 year renewal. See the clock hour form for more details on hours needed.

All points accumulated after you submit your renewal application can be applied to your next license. So, it makes sense to renew right away in January, that way you can count everything you do for the rest of the school year on your next license.

A Continuing Ed approval form must be turned in with each class or workshop attended. If you are turning in meetings for committees, please combine the hours onto one form. For instance, if you are on the Technology Committee and the Staff Advisory Committee, you may put them all on one form.

**When turning in your points to the committee for the first time, please attach a copy of your teaching license.

All Continuing Education points are accumulated online. Click the link on the right to create your account to check your hours or renew your license. You will need your license serial number and file folder number to create an account with MDE, so have your license in hand.

**Note: Lane change deadlines are September 15th and January 15th. Please contact Jody Pike in the district office for questions on lane change procedures or information.
