The Business Education Department provides occupational preparation for post secondary education and/or entry level business oriented positions.  Options for students in the areas of accounting, computer applications, and business law, plus a comprehensive keyboarding curriculum, provide a broad foundation for those seeking employment in business organizations.  The Business Education Department also offers courses that provide students an opportunity to encounter consumer situations affecting their daily lives so that they may become: (1) wise and skillful in selecting and using goods and services of business, and (2) competent and efficient in managing their own personal business and financial affairs.

For those students planning to major in a business related field or enter into a business occupation after high school (either owning a business, working in another's business, or going on to a college or other post-secondary institution) refer to the school registration catalog or contact one of the business education instructors for suggestions in planning a high school program.
